Selwyn Grave - Owner

Selwyn Grave - Owner

Selwyn Grave has been a hairdresser since 1954 and has had extensive experience within the industry. He established his first business as Selwyn Grave in 1961 and has been on Moray Place for the majority of the past 50 years.
Selwyn puts his success down to having the right personality for the business and making time to talk to his clients. He likes to make sure everyone feels welcome when they walk in the door and valued when they walk out of the door. He takes pride in running his own business and although he no longer works full time Selwyn likes to pop in towards the end of each day to ensure everything is running smoothly. Selwyn employs five people to ensure his name and service continues in Dunedin. His prices are reasonable, the shop does not take appointments and waiting time is limited. Haircuts are professional and modern.
Outside of work Selwyn belongs to the Dunedin East Rotary Club, the Andersons Bay Friendship Club, the masonic lodge and is a keen family man. He is a very proud grandfather of six grandchildren.
